The Wildfires is a Canberra based blues music group. 

They reached out, wanting a logo designed to coincide with their first single release on Spotify. 

They were seeking something thematically ‘country’ and ‘Western’, and we explored ideas of vectorising the lead singers’ iconic hat and the guitarists’ guitar to sit alongside the wordmark. 

In the end we landed on the wordmark shown, with a Western style font and flourishes to boot. The vectorised hat and guitar were passed onto the band to utilise in the future. 

The Wildfires bend the boundaries of blues, country and roots creating a gloriously craveable sound.

From the first note, Weasey Wade's voice melts your heart and demands every atom of your attention.

This combined with CC Hall's (The SunBears) dominating guitar work and vocals, The Wildfires are nothing short of exceptional.
